Product Overview
The VOSS VX Series Servo Diaphragm Metering Pump is a new-generation intelligent dosing solution developed for micro-flow and high-precision chemical injection applications. It is specifically designed for industrial environments where dosing accuracy, stable operation, and equipment compactness are critical. The series combines a compact servo drive structure, precision transmission mechanism, corrosion-resistant diaphragm components, and an optimized fluid path to deliver smooth, continuous, and low-pulsation dosing performance at low flow ranges.
The VX Series is especially suitable for laboratory dosing systems, fine chemical processing, compact water treatment units, OEM-integrated machines, and automated dosing skids. In addition to its precise metering capability, the VX Series also features a modular industrial design concept and a multi-color appearance system. This allows customers to select different product colors or request OEM customization according to industry requirements and brand identity, creating equipment that is both technically reliable and visually distinctive.
As one of the core micro-flow product families in the VOSS portfolio, the VX Series reflects the company’s product philosophy of high precision, easy integration, and simplified maintenance, ensuring dependable performance in demanding industrial environments.
Designer Profile

Chief Industrial Designer
VOSS DOSINGPrecision Fluid Control System Specialist
James Whitmore graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has more than 18 years of experience in the research, development, and design of industrial fluid control equipment. Before joining VOSS, he was involved in product development projects for several European industrial equipment companies, focusing on the structural and industrial design of high-precision fluid control systems, metering pumps, and industrial automation products.
In his design philosophy, industrial equipment should not remain at the level of simply being “functional.” It should also embody a solid engineering foundation, clear structural expression, and a more user-friendly operating experience. He advocates the concept of “Engineering meets Design,” emphasizing the integration of engineering precision with industrial design language, so that products can not only meet the demands of long-term operation under harsh working conditions, but also present strong product identity and a modern visual character.
At VOSS, James Whitmore has led the design of several core product series, with the VX Series being one of his representative achievements. For the VX Series, he places particular emphasis on three aspects:First, micro-flow equipment must deliver highly stable mechanical response;Second, the product structure must be compact to facilitate integration into complete systems;Third, industrial products should support a more diverse color language to better match the branding needs of different industries and OEM customers.
Design Philosophy
Design Philosophy
James Whitmore believes:
“Industrial equipment design is not only about engineering, but also about communication between people and machines.”
In the design of the VX Series, he takes the following principles as the core:
As a result, the VX Series is not only a high-precision micro-flow metering pump, but also a modern industrial product that combines industrial performance, system integration capability, and strong visual identity.
