VOSS VD Series Servo Diaphragm Metering Pump
Product Overview
The VOSS VD Series Servo Diaphragm Metering Pump is a heavy-duty, high-capacity dosing solution developed for demanding industrial applications, covering a flow range of 10–2000 L/h. It is specifically engineered for higher transfer capacity, stronger process adaptability, and greater mechanical strength. While maintaining stable metering performance, the series features a fully reinforced pump body, rigid servo drive system, and enhanced wetted-end structure to ensure long-term operation in large-scale continuous production systems.
The VD Series integrates a heavy-duty pump body, high-rigidity servo drive module, and reinforced diaphragm and pump head components, allowing the pump to maintain stable output and low pulsation even under large flow conditions. It is particularly suitable for large chemical plants, water treatment facilities, mining process systems, and continuous industrial production lines, especially where heavy-duty, high-viscosity, or complex media transfer is required.
As an important heavy-duty family within the VOSS high-flow platform, the VD Series focuses not only on transfer capacity, but also on continuous operating reliability, compatibility with complex fluids, and service convenience, making it a high-performance servo diaphragm metering solution for modern industrial applications.
Designer Profile

Fluid Control System Architect
Industrial Heavy-Duty Metering Specialist
Michael Harrington graduated from the University of Cambridge in Engineering Science and has more than 22 years of experience in industrial fluid control systems, intelligent metering architecture, and high-flow equipment development. Before joining VOSS, he participated in the design of several large-scale European industrial fluid projects, focusing on heavy-duty transfer equipment, industrial automation systems, and structural optimization of high-load fluid machinery.
At VOSS, Michael Harrington is responsible for the system architecture of several core product lines, including large-flow and heavy-duty equipment. For the VD Series, he places particular emphasis on continuous performance under high-capacity, high-viscosity, and complex operating conditions. The series therefore features strengthened pump body construction, reinforced drive rigidity, and improved system stability, enabling higher reliability and longer operating cycles in large industrial systems.
Design Philosophy
Design Philosophy
Michael Harrington believes:
“A true heavy-duty industrial metering system is not defined only by larger flow, but by its ability to remain stable, controllable, and serviceable under complex operating conditions.”
The key design priorities of the VD Series include:
Through these design principles, the VD Series achieves a strong balance of stability, durability, adaptability, and maintenance efficiency under high-load, high-flow, and complex process conditions, demonstrating VOSS’s engineering capability for heavy industrial applications.
